Ever since Keith Urban announced his divorce from Nicole Kidman, attention has swirled around his backup singers. First, Maggie Baugh found herself the subject of speculation (adamantly denied by a friend), and now a rising singer named Karley Scott Collins is trending.

Collins has spoken out previously about touring with Urban, describing him as a friend but gushing his praises, and she posted a photo showing her hugging him on stage for his birthday in October.

On November 26, she posted a Facebook reel with the caption, "A lot to be grateful for this year."

"I am thinking about how unbelievable it's been," she said of 2025. "I got to release my first ever album, Flight Risk, and then I got to sing it all over the world." She said she wears friendship bracelets sent to her by fans.

Collins spent part of the year touring with Urban.

The birthday photo was accompanied by a post praising the star. "Happy birthday @keithurban !!! I am so grateful for the time we spent on the road with you and everything the boys and I had the opportunity to learn from you and your team. We will never forget how kind you were to us on our first big tour. ❤️ feel so lucky to call you a friend!" she wrote on October 26.

Collins has gushed about Urban several times throughout the year. In July, she posted a set of photos showing them together and wrote, "🎶 is this the real life…?? 🎶 somebody pinch me cause we’re headed back out with @keithurban this weekend and I feel like I’m dreamin’🖤."

"It’s amazing being on the road with Keith. He is such a kind person and he’s been so good to the boys and I, but I’ve also learned so much from him," she told Country Now in September.

"He’s an incredible entertainer, and I respect him so much. Just watching him play every night and seeing the way he interacts with fans on stage and the way he plays and moves is so inspiring and I’ve learned a lot watching him," she added.

According to Country Now, Collins "spent the year" touring with Urban, released an album in September, and performed at the Grand Ole Opry. She sang about jealousy in a song called "Girlfriend" on her album.

Collins is active on Instagram, where she has 61,000 followers.

She wrote about her new album in May, saying, "The dream of putting out my first real record where I get to share the story of my life, loves + heartbreaks with you guys is one that has kept me up at night since I picked up a guitar when I was 11 years old. It sort of feels like putting 16 little pieces of my heart back together in one place…"
