Yung Miami Mocks Joe Budden's Gold Plaque for "Pump It Up," Sparking Heated Back and Forth

In a celebratory moment for Joe Budden, Yung Miami threw some jabs at the podcast host.

In a clip posted on Thursday, Aug. 22, Budden and his podcast co-hosts cheered as he was presented a gold RIAA-certification plaque for his 2003 single "Pump It Up," while the song played in the background. "Look at me," he said in the clip below. "Aw, look at that guys. Thank you, thank you. My shit."

The tension between the two isn't fresh. Budden previously criticized Yung Miami, born Caresha Brownlee, for her comments about Diddy during the season three premiere of her show Caresha Please. He also criticized the rapper for how she handled her fallout with her City Girls co-member, JT.

Rather than ignoring Yung Miami's remarks, Budden responded on X, writing, "It would be too easy…" to clap back, but hinted that he might address her comments on a future podcast episode.

This response only further irritated Yung Miami, who has had past social media feuds with other male media personalities like DJ Akademiks and Armon Wiggins.

"Another one bites the dust remember??? You was just celebrating when you THOUGHT I took an L. I can laugh YOU was just laughing at me so LETS LAUGH!" she wrote in response to Budden.
