The same day he received his first Grammy nomination, Rod Wave was arrested in Atlanta on a gun charge.

While more details about the arrest are forthcoming, Fulton County jail records shows that the 27-year-old rapper and singer, real name Rodarius Green, was booked on four charges. Among them are possession of a firearm or knife during commission, possession of a controlled substance, and reckless driving.

The arrest makes the second time this year that the Florida-born artist has landed in jail. In May, Wave was arrested on multiple charges in Fulton County, Georgia, including aggravated assault and tampering with evidence, all of which his lawyers denied.

In a statement, a rep for the Milton Police Department shared that authorities were responding to "a possible domestic disturbance" at a local residence, and upon arrival, it was "determined the situation involved a previously unreported burglary and the subsequent discharge of a firearm."

Rod turned himself in before being released on bond shortly thereafter, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.

The artist has seen his share of arrests throughout the years, and last April, he was taken into custody for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Wave's lawyers contested the arrest, per TMZ, denying that their client has ever been a convicted felon.

Also on Friday, Rod received his first Grammy nomination: He's included in the Best Song Written for Visual Media category for "Sinners" from the horror-action film of the same name.

Two other songs from the Sinners soundtrack—"Pale, Pale Moon" by Brittany Howard and "I Lied to You" by Miles Caton, who starred in the movie—are also competing in the category.
