Lance Bass Says Diddy Told Justin Timberlake to 'Drop These Effers' and 'Go Solo:' I Don't Like You Anymore Diddy'

On 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,' the NSYNC member claims that Diddy told Timberlake to scrap his boy band and embark on a solo career.

Not only has NSYNC member Lance Bass never gone to a Diddy-hosted party, but the singer doesn't like the music mogul whatsoever.

The Bad Boy Records founder came up in conversation while Bass was a guest alongside reality TV star Angie Katsanevas on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Wednesday (Sept. 25). During a segment of the show, Cohen brought up that Diddy once opened for NSYNC in concert and asked Bass if he'd ever attended one of his parties.

While Diddy has hosted elaborate bashes for decades, his private sex parties, otherwise known as "Freak Offs" are at the center of controversy for allegedly involving heavily sedated sex workers and trafficking victims. Described as "elaborate and produced sex performances," these occasions allegedly lasted for days, with Diddy requiring victims to use IV fluids to recover. Last Monday (Sept. 16), Diddy was arrested and charged with racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, has been denied bail twice, and is currently being held in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn until his trial begins.

But according to Bass, he hasn't been a part of any event Diddy has thrown, and claims to have overheard the rapper-producer tell fellow NSYNC member Justin Timberlake to scrap the boy band and go solo.

"I never had time to go to a Diddy party," Bass told Cohen.

Bass continued, "It’s kinda horrible, but never kinda liked him because the very last show in Orlando I overheard him talking to Justin [Timberlake] being like, ‘You need to drop these… effers! You need to go solo! And I was like, 'I don’t like you anymore Diddy.’ I’m like, ‘at my own show? What the hell?'"

After NSYNC split up in 2002, Timberlake had a fruitful solo career, releasing multi-platinum solo albums Justified, FutureSex/LoveSounds and The 20/20 Experience. In March, Timberlake held an NSYNC reunion live in Los Angeles for the first time since 2013, with the special occasion also happening months after the group connected for the single "Better Place."

Possibly to Diddy's chagrin, Bass hinted at more plans for NSYNC to reunite again, which he hinted at in an Entertainment Tonight interview.

"I think we have bigger plans that we're thinking of, so stay tuned," Bass told the outlet, adding, "If we're gonna do something, we gotta do something something. We're actually talking guys! We're doing it!"
