The estranged husband of former Astronomer head of HR, Kristin Cabot, has debunked speculation that he was cheated on.

In July, Cabot and ex-Astronomer CEO Andy Byron were seen canoodling on the jumbotron during a Coldplay tour stop at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. The scandal sent shockwaves across social media, as the former co-workers were married, respectively. Even Coldplay frontman Chris Martin picked up on the tension, as Cabot and Byron immediately broke their embrace after being caught on camera. "Either they’re having an affair, or they’re just very shy," Martin joked in the TikTok below.

Last week, it was reported that months after the concert, Cabot requested a legal separation from her husband, Andrew Cabot, on August 13 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. In an exclusive People report, published on Monday (September 8), Mr. Cabot said that at the time of the concert, he and his estranged wife were separated just "several weeks before."

"Their decision to divorce was already underway prior to that evening," a spokesperson for Andrew said. "Now that the divorce filing is public, Andrew hopes this provides respectful closure to speculation and allows his family the privacy they’ve always valued."

Although information has not been given regarding the state of Byron's marriage, he's since stepped down from Astronomer and remains legally married to his wife, Megan Kerrigan.

While the concert scandal took off, so did the trolling, and Astronomer participated by releasing an advertisement starring Martin's ex-wife, actress and entrepreneur Gwyneth Paltrow.

ComplexCon returns to Las Vegas on October 25–26, 2025, with over 300 brands and live performances by Young Thug, YEAT & Friends, Peso Pluma, Central Cee, Ken Carson, and more. Get your tickets now.
