IShowSpeed plans on giving back to the country of Dominica in a big way after visiting the tropical destination during his Caribbean tour livestream.

As of Wednesday (April 29), the popular 21-year-old streamer is currently in Dominica, where he kicked off his stream by revealing that he plans on donating a portion of his tour revenue to the island country.

“Chat, today is that day, we’re about to break a record, y’all,” Speed began. “We’re about to do 4 countries in one day.”

After apologizing for a delay, Speed said that his plans were “shifted” after a severe flood had hit Dominica. According to local news, heavy downpour has reached the land, causing widespread flooding and mudslides. Households have been vulnerable to damage, leading to a displacement of residents and blocked road access.

“All of the money I will be making during this stream, I will be donating to Dominica for the flood,” Speed announced.

Following the announcement, Speed showed his excitement for the long day ahead before receiving a ceremonial introduction by local residents. After participating in a drum circle, Speed danced with a group of women and tried his first red banana, also known as a Red Dacca, a tropical apricot and other exotic fruits.

In true IShowSpeed fashion, the streamer later took to the streets where fans swarmed him, before continuing his excursions for a planned 12-hour day.

Speed has already made the most of his Caribbean vacation by hitting St. Lucia with special guest Chloe Bailey and taking viewers under the sea during a scuba diving tour in Grenada. The tour is expected to continue until early May.
