Hailie Jade Says She 'Audibly Sobbed' After Hearing Eminem's "Somebody Save Me" and "Temporary"

On podcast "Just a Little Shady," Eminem's 28-year-old daughter said she'll only watch the "Somebody Save Me" music video once.

Eminem's new tracks "Somebody Save Me" featuring Jelly Roll and "Temporary" got an emotional reaction out of his 28-year-old daughter, Hailie Jade.

Just days after the 15-time Grammy winner released his latest Emil Nava-directed music video from his new album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce), Jade discussed it on the Just a Little Shady podcast alongside co-host Brittany Ednie.

Around the 27-minute mark of the video above, Jade brought up the "Somebody Save Me" music video, which she refuses to watch again.

"I watched it in entirety and I don't think I can do it again," Jade said. "I audibly sobbed, I think, for both songs, but especially 'Temporary.'"

She also shared that the video made her cry and that before taping the latest episode of her podcast, Ednie played a commercial that featured the song, to which she asked her to turn it down.

"Between that and 'Temporary...'" Jade continued. "I mean, I can't.

"But I will say, watching the video back and like listening to the songs, I feel like my parents did such a good job growing up where I didn't realize how bad things were," she continued. "But now, like as an adult, in hindsight, it's so scary to think about and I think that's why I get emotional so much, just thinking that that could've happened."

"And obviously, that's the point of the song. But I will say, if you've ever lost an addict or loved one, I feel for you."

Calling "Somebody Save Me" a "great video," Jade said it was "fun" to see childhood footage of her, also mentioning the 2004 music video for Eminem's "Mockingbird," although she can't watch that anymore without crying, either.

"The older I get, the less I can listen to any of the songs. But it is fun to see those clips, just not in that context," Jade concluded.

Released last week, the "Somebody Save Me" music video shows dramatic scenes of Eminem looking back on his past, along with clips of Jade and other family members, ending with footage of Jade during a guitar recital performance.
