Future, Katy Perry, Tyla and Lisa are among the artists who will perform at the US Opening Ceremony during the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The World Cup is being held June 11-July 19 in 16 different cities across the United States, Canada and Mexico. Thus, there are three different opening ceremonies, one in each country.
The US opening is scheduled for June 12 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. A match will be held the same day between the USA and Paraguay.
In addition to the artists mentioned up top, Rema and Anitta will also be performing at SoFi.
Tyla will be in Mexico the day before for their Opening Ceremony, where other performers include J Balvin, Maná, Alejandro Fernández, and more. During the June 11 opening ceremony in Toronto, Canada, native artists Alanis Morissette, Alessia Cara, Jessie Reyez, and Michael Bublé are among those set to headline.
“This opening ceremony in Los Angeles represents the extraordinary scale of what the FIFA World Cup 2026 will become,” stated FIFA President Gianni Infantino. “The lineup of artists reflects the cultural diversity of the United States and the vibrancy of its many diasporas, highlighting the nation’s rich influence on music, entertainment and pop culture, while showcasing the power of music to bring people together across the country.”
