Dame Dash threw jabs at his former friend Cam’ron while claiming to have been betrayed by the rapper and podcaster.
The music executive discussed the It Is What It Is co-host with Jason Lee in an interview on Wednesday (May 27), where he referred to Cam’ron as The Godfather character Fredo.
Around the 1:12:00 mark of the interview below, Dame said Cam was “not loyal” and claimed that the rapper talked negatively about his children. “But you know, Fredo, I don't like the fact that he has cheap teeth, and they're so big. Pause,” Dame said. “And I hate his suits. He dresses like old-school Steve Harvey.”
Dame went on to say that he never predicted that Cam would have become a “gossip guy” who would talk about him “and have those big-ass cheap teeth.”
“And he just continues to talk about me,” Dam continued. “But he's my biggest one of my biggest disappointments, looking at him doing wrestling and getting slung around…And then having all these opinions on sweaty men. Just not what I saw for Cam was cooler than that. He's Fredo now.”
The Roc-a-Fella Records co-founder went on to allege that Cam’ron was being blackmailed with compromising pictures. The beef between the former friends and business partners have escalated in recent years and spilled over into diss tracks released by the Dipset member. In one song, released last September, Cam’ron referred to Dame as a “snaggletooth” and “softer than a pillow.”
Teeth have been a source of contention between the men, and last month, Dame challenged Cam to go “dentist for dentist” during an appearance on podcast Ghetto Runways.
