Selena Gomez was recently named Billboard's "Woman of the Year," and if that doesn't entitle you to getting your own cover story on their website then, really, what the hell does? Not coincidentally, that cover story was published on Thursday, and in it Gomez spoke publicly for the first time about her breakup with The Weeknd, and her apparently rekindled relationship with Justin Bieber.
When asked by writer Brooke Mazurek about Bieber, she responded, vaguely, by saying "I cherish people who have really impacted my life."
While that might seem kind of difficult to discern anything from, she was asked about this aspect of her life later on in the interview. However, before that, she was asked what the best thing about not being in a relationship is, which led her to talk about her current status with her now ex-boyfriend, though (as noted by E!) the interview took place before they stopped following one another on social media:
When asked about what brought Bieber back into her life Gomez responded without mentioning him by name:
