Jarobi White, one fourth of the influential group A Tribe Called Quest, announced a call of action to the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation.

Last night, he shared on Facebook a wish list of different ways to honor Phife Dawg’s name, one of them being to rename St. Albans Park in Queens to Malik “Phife Dawg” Taylor Park.

In 2013, the late Beastie Boy Adam “MCA” Yauch had a park named after him. Palmetto Playground in Brooklyn was renamed to Adam Yauch Park.

For Phife Dawg, there’s already a petition created to get some movement going on this request. There’s currently over 300 supporters. If you want to support, you can head here.
