Chance the Rapper’s collaboration with Francis and the Lights — titled "May I Have This Dance"— has debuted on the Rock Airplay chart this week, making it Chance’s first appearance on a Billboard rock chart.

According to Billboard, "May I Have This Dance" landed at No. 48 in the chart dated Oct. 28. Chance is a featured artist on the song. The remix that adds Chance’s bridge onto the original was released earlier this year. The Jake Schreier-directed video, which came out in May, prominently features him.

"Dance" also marks Francis and the Lights’ rock chart debut. As reported by Billboard, the song is bubbling on the Alternative Songs Airplay chart "with additional play from select adult alternative stations. In particular, 20 spins in the latest tracking week on alternative KYSR Los Angeles benefited the song, driving 478,000 of those 1.1 million audience impressions."

It’s a cool way to end Chance’s week. Earlier, he shared his experience of receiving his three Grammys in the mail on social media, unboxing them with the help of his daughter Kensli.

At the end of the month, Chance is participating in Barack Obama’s inaugural summit for the Obama Foundation in Chicago. The event will take place Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. Chance is expected to close it out with a concert curated by him.
