On July 26, Bobbi Kristina Brown, who was the only daughter of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston, died at the age of 22 after battling an unknown medical condition for months.

Since then, a private funeral gathering for family and friends was held in Atlanta. A few days later, Bobbi Kristina was buried next to her late mother at a cemetery in New Jersey. Bobby Brown has had a good amount of time to heal, but he hasn’t publicly spoken about his loss until now. On Monday (Sept. 14), the New Edition singer will sit down with the hosts of The Real for interview.

In the preview above, Brown talks about the entire family praying and hoping that Bobbi Kristina would have awaken from her coma. He mentioned Whitney and made a joke about her having a part in Bobbi Kristina's passing so she wouldn’t be by herself. “Pretty sure her mother was…had a part with like (in an exaggerated voice), come on, let’s get her up here.”

Be sure to tune into the season premiere of The Real next week for Bobby Brown’s full interview.
