Isaiah Rashad’s new album It’s Been Awful arrives May 1, and several physical editions are already available to order. The 16-track project comes in four vinyl configurations, along with a CD, with prices ranging from $34.99 to $44.99 depending on the pressing.
The most exclusive option form the TDE rapper is the Steven Harrington Edition—a gatefold 2LP pressed on multicolor swirl vinyl and sold exclusively through Complex. The cover art reproduces Harrington’s original 6x6 painted canvas, making it a collector’s piece beyond the music itself.
For those shopping at txdxe.com, three additional formats are available. The Gatefold Special Edition Clear LP is priced at $44.99 and includes two clear vinyl discs in gatefold packaging. Buyers are limited to four copies per customer, and orders ship within 3–5 business days of the May 1 release date. The clear edition can also be split into two interest-free installments of $22.50.
An exclusive red vinyl gatefold 2LP is available for $39.99, while a standard gatefold 2LP is priced at $34.99. A CD edition is also available at txdxe.com for those who prefer the format.
Isaiah Rashad has hinted at a wide range of influences, citing artists like Prince and OutKast, alongside newer names such as Pluto and Bunna B, pointing to a more eclectic sound. Rashad has also expressed interest in incorporating a live band into future performances. With a release date now set, the album’s rollout is underway as fans await his next full project.
The album’s 16-track lineup includes features from SZA on “BOY IN RED” (Track 4), Dominic Fike on “CAMERAS” (Track 11), and Julian Sintonia on “DO I LOOK HIGH” (Track 8). The record opens with “THE NEW SUBLIME” and closes with “719 FREESTYLE.”
