Doechii's stellar mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal won the Grammy for Best Rap Album in February. It's now available on the Complex Shop to purchase on vinyl.
For $29.99 USD, you can receive the 22-track mixtape, which features singles "Denial Is a River" and "Nissan Altima."
Alligator Bites, the third mixtape from the Top Dawg Entertainment act, released last August and debuted at No. 5 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, later reissued to contain Doechii's viral hit, "Anxiety."
At the 76th Grammy Awards, Alligator Bites beat out J. Cole's Might Delete Later and Future & Metro Boomin's We Don't Trust You, among others. Last fall, Doechii also embarked on a 12-date tour, in addition to sets on NPR Tiny Desk Concerts and Camp Flog Gnaw.
Also at the awards ceremony, in addition to her show-stopping performance, Doechii delivered a heartfelt acceptance speech dedicated to Black women.
“Anything is possible," she said. "Don’t allow anybody to project any stereotypes on you, that tell you [that] you can’t be here, that you’re too dark, or that you’re not smart enough or too dramatic or too loud. You are exactly who you need to be."
