Travis Scott didn’t drop a solo album in 2025.

And yet, he still found a way to sit at the center of pop culture. Whether it was his high-energy stage shows (arguably the best in hip-hop), his latest Jordan collaboration, or his moments breaking beyond music—from WWE appearances to landing on the cover of this very magazine—Travis was everywhere.

Travis had an insane run in 2025. With a new solo album potentially on the way in 2026, here’s a look at all the ways Travis Scott dominated 2025.

1.Was the first rapper in 2025 to have a No. 1 hit.

During the 2025 College Football Playoff National Championship game, Travis Scott premiered his single "4x4." The song was released a few days later and quickly shot to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

2.Covered Issue 2 of Complex.

Prior to his Coachella performance, Travis Scott appeared on the cover of Issue 2—the Spring 2025 edition—of Complex. In the cover story, he discussed embracing production, saying, “I’ve been really into beatmaking. Because I think a lot of beats are kind of the same. Like, you’re hearing a lot of the same beats and the same drums. So that process [of beatmaking] is what makes it exciting to make the songs.”

3.Took over Coachella

Not only did Travis Scott headline the second night of each weekend of Coachella 2025, but he also transformed the desert into his personal canvas, with Cactus Jack statues, Nike collabs, and other touches stamped across the grounds.

4.Stepped in the ring at WrestleMania 41.

One of the biggest wrestling moments of 2025 was when John Cena became only the eighth heel to win a WrestleMania main event, defeating Cody Rhodes with help from Travis Scott. “FE!N,” the rapper's collaboration with Playboi Carti, was also the official song of WrestleMania.

5.Shut down Barcelona.

In the spring, Travis Scott performed in Barcelona, Spain for the first time, teaming up with Spotify and FC Barcelona to celebrate the launch of their collaborative football jersey. Even better, Spotify turned the performance into a concert film.

6.'Jackboys 2' shot to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Despite stiff competition from Justin Bieber and the Clipse, JACKBOYS 2Travis Scott's latest compilation album—debuted at No. 1 in the United States in July, earning 232,000 equivalent album units.

7."Goosebumps" became the highest‑certified rap song in RIAA history.

"Goosebumps," Travis Scott’s collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, turns 10 this year and is a record breaker. It has been certified 17 times platinum, making it the highest certified rap song ever.

8.His latest Fragment Jordan 1 low collab broke records.

In November, Travis dropped his latest Fragment Jordan 1 collab and it was a smash.

According to Bloomberg, the raffle pulled in 4.4 million entries, shattering the previous record of 3.8 million, held by… you guessed it… Travis, with the Reverse Mocha Jordan 1s.

9.Had the highest grossing solo rap tour of all time.

Travis' massive Circus Maximus World Tour, which launched at the end of 2023 and ran until November 2025, posted staggering numbers: $265.1 million in gross revenue and over 2.1 million tickets sold across 87 shows.

10.Was one of the most streamed rappers on the planet.

This will surprise no one: Travis was one of the most streamed rappers on Spotify, coming in at No. 6. Again, this is despite the fact that he didn’t release a solo album in 2025.
