Ahead of the impending end of Travis Scott’s world-spanning Circus Maximus Tour, the initial leg of which boasted Teezo Touchdown as an opener, the Utopia-focused headlining run is celebrating a number of key milestones.

First, per a source close with Travis Scott, which Complex has independently verified, the tour is reported to have now sold more than 1.5 million tickets, a record for the rap tour market. The tour is also said to have earned the distinction of being the biggest rap tour of this year and last year when it comes to the amount of tickets sold. Scott is also the first solo rap artist to have bagged sellouts at both the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford and SoFi Stadium in Inglewood.

Last week, Scott broke the attendance record for a single show at Allianz Stadium in Sydney, Australia when he performed with an impressive 41,811 people in attendance. A total of 78,897 people attended Scott's show across the two nights he performed at the stadium.

For those who missed it, the Circus Maximus experience was a proper thrill to behold, complete with theatrically oversized set pieces and enough pyro to provide pivotal moments in the setlist with literal, sweat-inducing heat. After several Australian dates through this week, La Flame and company will bring Circus Maximus to a close at Eden Park in Auckland, New Zealand on Halloween.

Scott’s 2024 doesn’t wrap there, however, as he’ll next be seen at ComplexCon in Las Vegas in November. In fact, Scott is this year's Artistic Director, with his contributions to the latest iteration of the festival dubbed, fittingly, CactusCon.

Fans can also expect a headlining set from Scott. See more info here.
