YG and Saweetie are still going strong, but not without some hiccups.
TMZ reports that the couple had to deal with the cops following an intense fight. Law enforcement sources told the outlet that the pair were arguing at their home in LA on Saturday afternoon, prompting someone to call the police “out of concern.”
Upon arrival, deputies separated the two rappers, who were seemingly fighting about “some cell phone drama.” Officers concluded that neither party physically harmed the other and that it was just a loud argument. The cops waited until YG and Saweetie cooled off before leaving; both were otherwise okay.
Deputies filled out a noncriminal report to document the incident. Neither YG nor Saweetie were charged with a crime.
They first fueled speculation of a romance in April 2023, when they were spotted cozying up at Coachella. They later confirmed their relationship when they went on a trip to Mexico. However, they seemed to have experienced some relationship woes in January when rumors circulated that they had broken up.
Saweetie dismissed the talk on X when YG shared a flick of them sitting in the back of what looks to be a Rolls-Royce, including a handful of emojis. Saweetie reshared the pic, writing, “My Pisces.”
