Taylor Swift Liked an IG Post Calling Kanye West's "Famous" Video 'Revenge Porn'

It seems like Taylor Swift has reopened an old can of worms when she liked an Instagram post that was a shot at Kanye’s “Famous” video.

It seems like Taylor Swift has reopened an old can of worms. Earlier this week, she liked an Instagram post that was a shot at Kanye’s “Famous” video.

The feud between Taylor, Kanye, and Kim started in 2016 when Kanye released “Famous,” which contained the lyrics, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/Why?/I made that bitch famous.” Later, Ye claimed that Taylor had approved the lyrics after he called and asked for permission.

However, Taylor shared in a statement that she had cautioned Ye against the song’s “misogynistic message” and that she didn’t permit him to say the line, “I made that bitch famous.”

People mistakenly said that Kim had the receipts and could prove Taylor wrong, but when Kim released portions of the phone call, it sounds like Taylor only granted Ye permission to use the “we might have sex” lyric, but not “that bitch.”

To make matters worse, a month before Kim shared the audio clips, Ye had released the visual for “Famous,” which features nude wax figures of high-profile celebrities in bed—and to the right of Kanye was a figure depicting Taylor.

While Taylor never commented on the video, many of her fans denounced the visual as “sexual harassment” and “revenge porn.” The topic came up once again earlier this week in an “Unpopular Opinion: Kanye West” Twitter thread, where a user wrote, “the famous music video was straight up revenge porn. not to mention putting abuse victims next to their abusers and celebrating sexual assaulters. it was disgusting and he doesn’t get enough crap for it.”

Later, another Taylor fan screenshotted the tweet and shared it on Instagram. Taylor liked the post, though she didn’t comment on it.
