Prior to the release of Kanye West's 2016 album The Life of Pablo, Ye and Taylor Swift famously put their longstanding feud to the side. The lyrics of TLOP's "Famous" threw that into question, however, with Yeezy rapping, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/Why? I made that bitch famous."

Swift was understandably not a fan of the line when the song was released. Kanye swore he checked with her before it came out, which she denied took place. Then Kim Kardashian got involved, labeling Swift a "snake" and releasing a video of the alleged conversation taking place. It's been almost three years since this went down, but the 29-year-old singer hasn't forgotten.

Swift addressed the 2016 situation and how it made her feel in a new piece for Elle magazine. "A few years ago, someone started an online hate campaign by calling me a snake on the internet," she wrote in the issue. "The fact that so many people jumped on board with it led me to feeling lower than I’ve ever felt in my life."

In fact, she explained that she felt so down after the song came out, she considered quitting music. “I learned that disarming someone’s petty bullying can be as simple as learning to laugh,” she said. “I can’t tell you how hard I had to keep from laughing every time my 63-foot inflatable cobra named Karyn appeared onstage in front of 60,000 screaming fans." While Kim has said she thinks the feud is water under the bridge, Swift would still love an apology.

"It would be nice if we could get an apology from people who bully us,” Swift continued. "But maybe all we’ll ever get is the satisfaction of knowing I could survive it, and thrive in spite of it."

Never one to let anything go, Kanye might have one last comment on their feud just yet.
