Pharrell and his wife, Helen Lasichanh stunned on the Met Gala red carpet, both outfitted in custom Louis Vuitton ensembles.
Skateboard P wore a textured, white double-breasted suit jacket, black tie, white button-up shirt, and black trousers, while Lasichanh donned a black leather jacket and bodysuit, and tights with the Louis Vuitton emblem.
But Pharrell also had a surprise for us, sporting a full grill in his mouth.
When asked about the gold grill, he revealed to Essence that those are actually his Invisaligns. “I used my Invisalign trays and got them done in gold,” he explained to the reporter.
When the reporter was surprised, he added, “It’s what dandy do,” referencing the Met Gala’s 2025 theme.
Invisalign jumped in the comment section of Essence’s video, writing, “When your smile’s as intentional as your fit...gold-level confidence!”
Pharrell was co-chair for the 2025 Met Gala, alongside Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, ASAP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, and Anna Wintour. This year’s event explored Black style and the history of dandyism, inspired by the spring exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute, titled “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” and the evening’s dress code, “Tailored For You.”
