Lil Baby has some very specific views on marriage.
The “Drip Too Hard” rapper appeared on Lil Yachty’s A Safe Place podcast where the topic came up.
“I ain’t sharing my finances,” Baby declared at around the 39:20 minute mark.
When Yachty floated the idea of a prenup, Baby shot him down.
“Prenups don’t mean nothing,” he explained. “It’s no thing that you can marry a woman and then she don’t get nothing. It’s ways for her to get something, regardless once y’all get married. I give a girl $10 million ring, $10 million wedding—no paperwork. That’s my offer. I vow til death do us part, we married.”
Baby thought about it some more and said, “And that could change when I get older—I don’t really see that.”
When Lil Boat called the paperwork, “just a sheet of paper,” Baby disagreed.
“It’s not just a sheet of paper. It’s something that actually stands,” he said.
When Yachty brought up different scenarios—like if “god forbid,” Lil Baby went back to prison or was in the hospital and couldn’t see her, he said, “I wouldn’t give a damn.”
The 30-year-old has two sons, the first, Jason with Ayesha Howard, and the second, Loyal Armani with Jayda Cheaves.
