Many of us will be putting our funds towards holiday gifts over the next few weeks. And while we can pick out items that will wow our loved ones, they most likely won’t be as extravagant as any of the custom jewelry we’ve seen recently.
This month’s jewelry highlights include pieces by Central Cee and Lil Baby that celebrate their upcoming albums, an unorthodox set of diamond grills for J Balvin by the industry leaders over at Gabby Elan, and even diamond-encrusted candy, courtesy of Greg Yuna.
Take a closer look at the top five pieces of jewelry unveiled throughout November 2024, below.
5. IShowSpeed’s Ronaldo CR7 Watch
Jeweler: Jacob & Co.
If you’re familiar with IShowSpeed, you know that the streamer is absolutely obsessed with Portuguese soccer legend Ronaldo. He’s wrapped Lamborghinis in paint jobs to mimic his uniform and even owns a signed pair of underwear. Now, he has a new timepiece to rep his super fan status, courtesy of Jacob & Co. IShowSpeed was personally gifted the green Epic x Heart of CR7 watch during ComplexCon 2024 in Las Vegas. Key features on the $29,000 watch include a diamond bezel, pillars depicting Ronaldo and his CR7 logo on the dial, and a soccer ball-shaped skeleton barrel cover. This particular style is limited to 100 pieces. At this rate, Speed may have a better collection of Ronaldo memorabilia than the man himself.
4. DK Metcalf’s $200,000 Juicy Drop Pop Chain
Jeweler: Greg Yuna
Seattle Seahawks superstar, wide receiver DK Metcalf, loves candy. He’s admitted that he eats bags of gummies every single day. Last month, he took his sweet tooth to another level by debuting a $200,000 Juicy Drop Pop chain. Designed by renowned New York City jeweler Greg Yuna, it features hand-done enamel work and yellow diamonds. It hangs from a chain with alternating white and yellow diamond links. The best part, it’s actually candy. Metcalf can still eat the Blue Rebel Juicy Drop Pop while it’s hanging from his neck. Talk about convenience.
3. Central Cee’s ‘Can’t Rush’ Rings
Jeweler: A Jewellers
Central Cee has had an impressive year when it comes to his custom jewelry. Before 2024 comes to a close, he made sure to hit up his go-to jeweler, A Jewellers, to add one more piece to the list. He’s been flaunting a series of rose gold rings that spells out “Can’t Rush,” a nod to his upcoming 2025 album Can’t Rush Greatness. The set is also worn by Central Cee on its cover art. To further play off the title, the number of diamonds increases with each letter. Does Cench have one of the best jewelry collections in hip-hop? We think so.
2. J Balvin ‘Facets’ Grill
Jeweler: Gabby Elan
J Balvin has gotten many incredible grills from Gabby Elan over the years featuring flashy design elements like rainbow-colored stones and enamel painted to look like a cloudy blue sky. For their latest linkup, Gabby Elan created the “Facets” grill for the global superstar. The abstract design covers each tooth with asymmetrical panels, which alternate between white and fancy vivid yellow diamonds. Who said a crooked smile can’t be pretty?
1. Lil Baby’s ‘WHAM’ Chain
Jeweler: Jewelry Unlimited
Lil Baby is gearing up for the release of his new album, WHAM (Who Hard As Me). Inspired by his home city of Atlanta, his pendant commemorating the album is shaped like a retro Atlanta Falcons logo and features over 350 carats of diamonds. Inside is a speech bubble featuring the LP’s title along with buildings from the ATL skyline. The back of the pendant is engraved with even more nods to Atlanta such as the Fox Theater, Hawks logo, and Coca-Cola insignia. In a video flaunting his new chain, Lil Baby says it cost him $600,000. You can’t question Baby’s love for his city after dropping money like that.
