A fight broke out at Leon Thomas’ show over the weekend.

On Monday, a clip started circulating of people engaging in a physical altercation at the singer’s Silver Spring, Maryland concert at The Fillmore, as R&B music played in the background. After seeing the TikTok video, Thomas jumped into the comments to react.

“I got no songs that warrant this,” he wrote, deadpan.

He also shared the clip on X, where he responded with a little more feeling. “I don’t got one song for yall to be doing this too,” he penned, adding a laughing-crying emoji at the end.

If you’ve listened to Thomas’ second studio album, Mutt, you are likely to agree with him.

Leon is currently on his Mutts Don’t Heel World Tour in support of Mutt. The album, which arrived last September, recently earned the 32-year-old six Grammy nominations for Album of the Year, Best R&B Album, Best R&B Song, and Best New Artist, among others.

Following its 2024 release, Mutt peaked at No. 35 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and No. 8 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The project’s title song recently cracked the top 10 on Billboard Hot 100 over a year after its release, climbing from No. 18 to No. 8, where it sits as of this writing. The song hit the top ten simultaneously with the release of his new EP, Pholks.
