Flavor Flav issued a warning to all artists with pet-themed monikers.
“Pet Shop Boys better stay inside and lock the doors,” Flavor Flav tweeted on Tuesday. “You too Snoop Dogg. And Pitbull.”
The Public Enemy rapper’s joke stems from the presidential debate on Tuesday when Donald Trump, doubled down on an anti-immigrant rumor, which had proven to be false: that Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio were stealing and eating pets.
“They’re eating the dogs," he said. They’re eating the cats. They’re eating the pets of the people that live there.”
Kamala Harris reportedly called Trump “extreme” for his remarks, per the Associated Press. According to last night's debate moderators, city officials have said the allegations are false.
