Cardi B has never been pro-Trump.
On Friday night, the Invasion of Privacy rapper pointed to a particular statement the former president recently made, where he gave his version of what US politics will look like in four years if he's re-elected.
During a rally in West Palm Beach, Florida on Friday, Trump told the crowd that if he returned to the White House, they “won’t have to vote anymore” because he would “fix” certain issues that matter to “Christians.”
“Whistle blowing a dictatorship?” Bardi quote-tweeted the clip, alongside an eyebrow-raised emoji.
Cardi has been extremely vocal about the upcoming election. Last week, she reminded everyone that she previously suggested Kamala Harris should replace Joe Biden as the Democratic party’s nominee.
Earlier this summer, Cardi took to social media to say that she felt the Democrats were being selfish for allowing Biden to run for re-election and that Harris should be his replacement.
"STOP PLAYING WIT ME!!!! Check the date.. said this on JUNE 30TH," Cardi wrote in an IG post. "Been told y'all Kamala should've been the 2024 candidate. Y'all be trying to play the Bronx education, baby this what I do!!! Been my passion.. don't let my accent fool y'all."
Biden dropped out of the race last Sunday and quickly endorsed Harris to be the party's nominee.
"I feel like they should have passed the torch to Kamala," Cardi said in her video from June 30. "This was the perfect moment for her … I feel like right now it would be her perfect time to shine."
