Gary Payton and Jordan Crawford almost fought during a match-up between their teams in the Big 3 league.

On Sunday, the Enemies took on Bivouac, and fans had a front-row seat to a shoving match that nearly broke out into a brawl. Crawford, who plays for the Enemies, was putting up a solid effort, dropping 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists against the team Payton coaches.

At one point, Payton started chirping Crawford while clapping his hands in his face when the 35-year-old approached him. Crawford shoved Payton out of the way, which riled him up even more, and he continued talking trash. Players from both teams eventually got in between the two, but they ended up shoving each other as well.

Fortunately, the teams never came to full blows, and the Enemies managed to walk out with the victory, beating Bivouac 50 to 46. Both teams are now 6-1 heading into the playoffs.

Payton is a notorious trash-talker, as he made it a part of his game when he logged 17 seasons in the NBA. His trash talk was so legendary that a production company green-lit a docuseries based on his ability to get into the mind of his opponents.

According to Deadline, MindRiot Entertainment is producing the series titled Trash Talk. Cameras will follow the nine-time NBA All-Star as he "talks trash while on horseback with rodeo cowboys, fly fishing with producer John Dietsch (A River Runs Through It), and maybe even go head to head selling cookies with a bad-ass troupe of kids."
