Solange may have sparked the revival of BlackPlanet, a 20-year-old social networking site that caters to the black community.

The 32-year-old singer announced her newly launched account via Twitter and Instagram on Tuesday, sharing a video of her main page filled with GIFs and small text. Solange's account also includes a link to a dossier, which features her portraits, rodeo-inspired photography, and pictures of dancers.

Solange's presence on BlackPlanet—a platform that has lost popularity since the aughties—is leading some to believe her long-awaited fourth studio album is right around the corner.

The artist has been pretty tight-lipped about the effort, but confirmed it had been completed in 2018. Solange told the New York Times she had recorded the album in New Orleans, Topanga Canyon, and Jamaica.

"There is a lot of jazz at the core," Solange said about the project. "But with electronic and hip-hop drum and bass because I want it to bang and make your trunk rattle."

The singer also said her forthcoming album will be "warm…fluid and more sensual" than her 2016 release A Seat at the Table.

We'll be sure to keep you posted as more information about what Solange has in store.
