Will Miley Cyrus Host a Puppet Orgy During Sunday's VMAs?

Or will the singer spend some of her stage time blasting Donald Trump?

It sounds like Miley Cyrus’ upcoming VMA performance is already causing some drama—the kind of drama that involves a puppet orgy, Donald Trump, and some vagina sniffing.

According to Page Six, the 24-year-old singer’s team hasn’t agreed on what she will do during Sunday’s broadcast. Before she performs her new single “Younger Now,” Miley will receive one extra minute on stage to do as she pleases; however, there’s reportedly some disagreement on how she will spend that additional time.

Page Six reports Diane Martel, who directed the puppet-filled video for “Younger Now,” was overheard ranting about the upcoming performance. Sources claim Martel continued to refer to herself as “Miley’s creative director” and said she wanted the singer to spend the minute hosting a raunchy puppet orgy to “show off her acting chops.” Someone also mentioned the idea of a puppet sniffing Miley’s crotch after she makes a joke about “keeping it clean down there”; however, it seems not everyone is on board with this idea. Thank God.

Martel allegedly said Miley’s manager Adam Leber wants to use the minute to blast President Trump in an attempt to make headlines. According to Page Six:

The publication reached out to Martel about the alleged rant. The director responded with an email that read: “No friction! Excitement! Mileys number will be sunrising [sic] and emotional, her new some [sic] younger Now is beautiful and contemplative and self written.”

Leber and VMA organizers have not commented on the report; however, VMA executive producer Garrett English recently told Variety that the night’s events are still being worked out.

“Rehearsals have yet to begin, the run-of-show hasn’t been nailed down, and presenters still don’t know who they’ll be paired with,” English said earlier this week, adding that dress rehearsals will continue “up until the minute the show goes on air.”

The 2017 VMAs will be hosted by Katy Perry and will air at 8 p.m. ET this Sunday on MTV. The ceremony will include performances by Kendrick Lamar, Fifth Harmony, Lorde, the Weeknd, and Pink, who will receive this year’s Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
