Lady Gaga and Christian Carino have reportedly split, four months after they confirmed their engagement.
Sources tell E! News Gaga called it quits one week ago and Carino has been "desperately trying" to restore the relationship. Many speculated there was trouble in paradise after Gaga showed up the 2019 Grammys on Sunday without her fiancé. Keen-eyed fans also noticed the A Star Is Born actress was not wearing her engagement ring during the ceremony, nor did she mention him during her acceptance for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance ("Shallow").
Two other insiders have refuted the breakup rumors, insisting the couple is still together.
"She just wasn't wearing her ring due to performing," one source shared with us. "They have put all their wedding plans on hold until after Gaga's busy season, but still plan to get married this year."
Complex has reached out to Gaga's camp for comment.
