Kodak Black Arrested After Law Enforcement Raided His Florida Home

The rapper is facing multiple charges, including child neglect, possession of a firearm, possession of marijuana, and parole violation.

Kodak Black is back behind bars.

Broward Sheriff deputies arrested the 20-year-old rapper Thursday night after law enforcement apparently raided his Florida home. According to the sheriff’s office inmate database, Kodak is facing charges of grand theft of a firearm, child neglect, possession of marijuana, two counts of possession of a weapon by a felon, and two counts of probation violation.

The aforementioned raid was captured on Kodak’s Instagram Live broadcast.

Kodak’s legal troubles have been well documented over the years. In 2017, the “Tunnel Vision” rapper was arrested for violating the terms of his house arrest. After completing voluntary life skills course while in jail, Kodak was released after serving 97 days of the 364-day sentence.

Thursday’s arrest occurred while Kodak was on probation and under a one-year house arrest sentence, which means the new charges will likely result in some serious jail time.

Kodak is also facing charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct in South Carolina. The charges stem from a 2016 incident, in which he allegedly sexually assaulted a teenage girl after one of his concerts. The case is ongoing.

The rapper’s team did not immediately respond to Complex’s request for comment.
