Kodak Black's sophomore album Dying to Live arrived Thursday night, delivering 16 tracks and guest appearances by Juice WRLD, Travis Scott, and Lil Pump. One of the most notable offerings was the ninth cut titled "Malcolm X.X.X.," which addressed the intersection of gun violence and racism.

The song, produced by Major Nine, underscored the issue by comparing human rights activist Malcolm X to the late rapper XXXTentacion, both of whom were fatally shot more than five decades apart.

Kodak recently spoke about X during an interview on 103.5 The Beat. The "Zeze" rapper opened up about the conversations he had with his fellow Floridian, as well as the moment he learned about his murder.

The two had previously collaborated on "Roll in Peace," which appeared on Kodak's 2017 effort Project Baby 2.
