Though he hasn’t had the smoothest year, Kodak Black has kept fans fed with a steady stream of new music. He came through with his Valentine’s Day mixtape Heart Break Kodak, multiple chart-topping singles, as well as collaborative records with everyone from ASAP Rocky to Metro Boomin to Meek Mill.
On Thursday, Kodak accelerated the momentum with the release of Dying to Live, his much-anticipated sophomore album. The project spans 16 tracks and includes guest appearances by Lil Pump, Juice WRLD, Travis Scott, and Offset.

The Florida rapper is currently on a promotional run, which included an awkward interview on Ebro in the Morning. During the sit-down, the eponymous host touched on Kodak’s ongoing legal issues, including a 2016 incident in which Kodak allegedly raped a teenage girl in South Carolina.
"I feel like sometimes when n***as be going through s**t, like, y'all be entertained by bulls**t," a visibly upset Kodak said. "Change the subject, or else I'm finna walk out."

The rape claims resulted in charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. Kodak’s trial will begin in spring 2019. He will face up to 30 years in prison if convicted.
