Chief Keef was reportedly arrested Thursday night on charges of robbery and assault.

According to TMZ, the 21-year-old Chicago rapper was accused of breaking into the home of his ex music producer, Ramsay Tha Great, and assaulting him with a group of men. Police told the publication they had gone to Keef’s residence in Tarzana, California, on Thursday to question him about the incident. Shortly after they arrived, Keef and another individual were taken into custody.

Last week, Ramsay posted a video in which he claims Keef and five other men broke into his home with automatic weapons. The producer is seen in what appears to be a hospital bed, wearing a neck brace and with bruises on his face. He goes on to claim that the assailants jumped him in his house before stealing $1,600, an iPhone, and pieces of jewelry.

“He dumb enough to have a $6 million record deal and come in my house and jump me personally?” Ramsay asks in the video. “Some of that money is coming to me, you goofy-ass nigga. Anybody who got anything to say about it, I don’t give a fuck.”

Shortly after Keef’s arrest, fans went to Twitter calling for the rapper’s release, using the hashtag #FreeSosa.
