Lady Gaga has called off the final Montreal stop of her Mayhem Ball Tour after a respiratory infection worsened in the days leading up to the show.
The singer announced on Monday, April 6, that she would no longer perform at the Bell Centre on April 6, canceling the third and final night of her Montreal run after being advised by her doctor not to take the stage. Gaga had already performed at the venue on April 2 and April 3 before her condition deteriorated.
In a message shared on Instagram Stories, Gaga said she had been trying to recover while continuing the tour, but her symptoms became more severe.
“I’ve been fighting a respiratory infection for the past few days and doing everything I can to rest and recover, but it’s gotten worse,” she wrote, according to People.
Gaga added that her doctor “strongly advised” her not to perform and said she did not believe she could deliver the kind of show fans deserved.
Lady Gaga has been on the road for the second North American leg of her Mayhem Ball Tour since February, with arena dates in cities including Glendale, Los Angeles, Fort Worth, Atlanta, Miami, Boston, Washington, D.C., New York, and Montreal.
The run was added last September after strong demand for her album Mayhem, which helped extend the tour into 2026. Gaga said at the time that she chose arenas over stadiums so she could have more control over the production and “bring MAYHEM to life exactly how I envision it.”
Gaga also apologized directly to the fans who had planned to attend the canceled Montreal show. “I know how deeply disappointing this is, and I truly could not feel worse about letting you down,” she wrote.
She described her earlier Montreal performances as “magical and deeply meaningful,” adding, “To everyone who was coming tonight, I’m absolutely heartbroken and so sorry.”
The canceled concert is not the first health-related disruption during the Mayhem Ball run. Earlier this year, Gaga rescheduled her Miami date at Kaseya Center after dealing with vocal strain. That March 13 performance was eventually moved to the 2026 leg of the tour.
As of this writing, the Mayhem Ball Tour is still scheduled to conclude with two performances in Saint Paul on April 9 and April 10, followed by a final show at Madison Square Garden on April 13. Ticketmaster has said refunds for the Montreal cancellation will be available through the original point of purchase.
