In a video shared on Instagram, Kevin Gates addressed women who he says have leaked his DMs and sent them to his partner, Jelenny Tejada.
“Ay, public service announcement: I ain’t know that you pussy-ass, dicked-out-ass hoes taking screenshots of every DM that I ever sent to one of you hoes,” he said.
“‘Cause yeah, a n***a still got in your DMs ‘cause a n***a wanted to fuck you," he continued, "And [you] sending this shit to my wife. Like, if I ever got in your DM ever, please forgive me, I’m not sorry. I [wanted to] beat your back in… She know what up with me, pussy.”
While he referred to Tejada as his wife in the video, it's unclear if they're legally married.
Gates had a lot of his personal life aired out on social media last year.
He married to Brittany Renner near the start of the year, and they divorced in May after just 52 days of marriage. He also filed for divorce from his ex, Dreka Gates, that same year in July, although he has since claimed they never legally tied the knot.
Dreka Gates married the Baton Rouge rapper in 2025, and in legal documents, she alleged that in 2021 he began to “dismantle the financial foundation of their family.”
She accused him of showing off his lavish lifestyle, including his purchase of 18 cars and a $4.7 million home in Calabasas. She is seeking $27,193 per month in child sport and $46,274 in spousal support.
She also requested to be the primary guardian of their children while he has continuously denied they were married.
Renner, meanwhile, told Bootleg Kev at the 2025 BET Awards that she was leaving “no stone unturned” and had “no regret” when it came to their brief marriage.
“A lot of people, their issue is, even just in dating, in marriage, it's people just don't give it their all,” she said. “They don't just go for it. But I feel like when you do, you're at peace with whatever happens because I gave 100 percent."
