Two men died in a shooting that went down at an Iowa car show that Boosie Badazz was scheduled to perform at.

As reported by TMZ, the 41-year-old rapper was the headliner for the music performance portion of The Pull Up Car Show at the I-29 Speedway in Pacific Junction, Iowa on Saturday, August 10. Other performers included Rob49 and Rich the Factor. Before that portion of the event was set to kick off, however, shots were fired at the venue's parking lot. Two men from Omaha, Nebraska in their late 20s died in the shooting.

Investigators have since identified the victims as 28-year-old Marcus Johnson and 27-year-old Charles Williams Jr., per KETV. The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation has confirmed that an investigation into the shooting is ongoing. The Iowa State Patrol and the Omaha Police Department are assisting in the investigation.

"They just shut the car show down," Boosie said in a video shared on Instagram, indicating that he wasn't aware of what happened and was planning to go to a nearby nightclub. "Some shit happened at the front. ... Guess they're gonna have to book me again in Omaha."

Investigators said that the circumstances around the shooting, which occurred at approximately 9 p.m. local time, remain unclear.
