Boosie Badazz is an extremely happy man after he found out his 2023 gun charge waa thrown out.

On Friday, legal journalist Meghann Cuniff sent out a tweet announcing a federal judge dismissed Boosie's gun possession charge from an arrest in San Diego last May. The post included a picture of Boosie standing beside his lawyer.

“This situation made me see who was down with me and who wasn’t,” he said while crying outside of a San Diego federal courtroom, according to Courthouse News. “Ninety percent of people thought I was going to prison, but God had a different plan.”

According to Cuniff, the 41-year-old rapper said he would celebrate by taking his family on a vacation. He even took to his Instagram to share a few posts of his reactions to the dismissal.

"CASE DISMISSED‼️🔥💨GOD I JUST WANNA SAY THANK U ‼️🔥YOU NEVER LEAVE ME 🔥U MAKE A AWAY OUT OF NO WAY," he wrote under a video of him tearing up. "U MADE ME BEAT SOUTH BATON ROUGE, U MADE ME BEAT CANCER , U MADE ME BEAT DEATHROW, U MADE ME BEAT GUN SHOTS, U MADE ME BEAT FED CASES, U FORGAVE MY SINS #itrustnugod."

He continued, "EVERY TIME IT LOOKED LIKE IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE YOU SHOWED THEY ASS! TO ANYONE N TROUBLE CALL ON GOD I DONT CARE HOW BAD IT LOOKS HE WILL DO IT! HE WILL MAKE A AWAY OUT OF NO WAY."

In another post, Boosie spoke more about his dismissed charge and reaffirmed his plans to travel across the world. "I'm at a loss for words right now, man. I'm gonna take me a trip cross country, bro. Go to about three different countries. God good, boy. He'll make a way out of no way bro. That n***a love me, bro," he said.

Boosie added that things were coming back around for him, such as obtaining his gun rights. He also said he was grateful and thanked God for getting him to this point before sharing another post of him floating in a pool and smiling ear to ear with Daft Punk's "One More Time" playing in the background.

In a statement to XXL, Boosie's lawyer said, "I am so thrilled for Mr. Hatch! He can finally put this saga behind him and go back to doing what he does best—taking care of the people he loves and making music."

Boosie, whose real name is Torence Hatch, was arrested during a traffic stop in May 2023 where police found two loaded handguns in his car. An officer reviewed a social media clip that showed Boosie with the handle of a pistol sticking out of his waistband while he was at a music video shoot.

During a court hearing, the state charge was dismissed, but Boosie was arrested by federal agents and given another gun charge. He was required to wear an ankle monitor but had it removed last May during a pool party.

"MY P.O. said my charges are terminated, and I can cut my ankle monitor off," Boosie said to partygoers, who cheered him on once he took off the ankle monitor before jumping into the water.
