ESPN reports that the field at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City received new sod, prompting a number of Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Rams players to reconsider a game originally scheduled there for next Monday (Nov. 18). "It's not fair to risk our health," a player from one of the teams anonymously told ESPN's Adam Schefter earlier this week. The teams reportedly wanted to have the game moved to Los Angeles, and now it looks like they may have got their wish.

Schefter now reports that the Monday game has been moved from Mexico City to Los Angeles "due to poor field conditions in Estadio Azteca."

Rams safety guard John Johnson wasn't a fan of the conditions at the field when he noticed them on social media earlier today, tweeting, "THAT'S OUT."

Discussions regarding postponing the match or completely moving it to another location were underway this week, with the NFL expected to make an official announcement regarding the move in the coming days. With how many players were skeptical about playing on the field, this would appear to be the best outcome possible. Earlier this week, the NFL denied both team's request to play in Denver prior to the game in Mexico City.
