Drake's "Nice for What" Debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100

Drake is having an incredible year so far.

Earlier this year, Drake broke streaming records with "God's Plan," which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and retained the spot for an incredible 11 weeks. Now, as Billboard had reported would likely happen last Friday (April 13), he's landed the No. 1 again with his new single "Nice for What," dethroning himself and becoming the fourth artist with multiple No. 1 debuts on the chart.

"Nice for What" is Drizzy's third No. 1 as a lead artist, and second as a solo act. This means that Drake is the 13th artist to ever replace themself at No. 1, with Justin Bieber achieving the same feat back in 2016 when "Love Yourself" kicked "Sorry" off the top of the chart. Even more impressive, Drake is now the first artist to replace themself at No. 1 with songs that debuted at No. 1.

"Nice for What" is the 6 God's 25th song to enter the Hot 100 top 10, tying him with Elvis Presley for the fourth-most top 10 singles by solo male artists. This also marks Fort Erie, Ontario producer Murda Beatz's first single to hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Meanwhile, "God's Plan" remains in the top 10 at No. 2, further cementing the track's ongoing dominance in 2018. Whenever the follow-up to Views and More Life shows up, it's pretty safe to bet that it'll see Drake smashing even more records.
