Desiigner made a 911 call on the same night he was arrested on charges of domestic violence in South Carolina, newly released audio reveals.
As reported by TMZ, the rapper told a 911 dispatcher that a woman allegedly tried to steal his car.
“She’s trying to do grand theft auto on my car … She has my son, I need my son,” he said.
During the call, he appeared to tell the woman to “kill herself,” but also told the dispatcher that he was also experiencing suicidal thoughts.
During the same call, Desiigner seemed panicked and alleged that “somebody put something bad in my weed.”
The rapper also told the dispatcher that he had an Airsoft gun on him “just to have one,” and that the woman “bothers him every day,” noting that he has “receipts” showing her on his surveillance cameras.
When he was asked by the dispatcher about his whereabouts, he said that he drove away from the scene to escape the woman.
Last month, Desiigner was arrested in South Carolina for alleged domestic violence. The woman, who is also reportedly the mother of the rapper’s child, told authorities that they got into an argument that turned physical.
She alleged that her sweatpants were torn during the altercation after he grabbed the car keys from her, and in the 911 call, the rapper can be heard arguing about his car keys.
The woman said that Desiigner put their child in a car seat and then threw her to the ground when she tried to stop him from doing so. Police said she had minor scratches on her arm and back.
Following his arrest, Desiigner was released on $1,500 bond.
