Cardi B is approaching the end of her Little Miss Drama tour, and in a recent Instagram Live session, she revealed that she was recently the victim of credit card fraud and wants to see those responsible arrested.
“Like two weeks ago, my credit card was missing… Which is funny, because… I always have it in my purse,” she told fans. “You know I don’t play about my money, right? So my credit, my AMEX, is connected to my phone. Bitch, every single time that something is purchased with my AMEX, I get a notification like a n***a is texting me.”
Cardi said that at one point, she noticed a $40,000 purchase from Saks, and initially she thought it might have been someone from her team. But then she started to notice something was off, because she hasn’t been shopping for clothes ever since her tour started. About 35 minutes after that transaction, Cardi said that she got another notification. This time, it was a $20,000 purchase at an Apple store.
“Some weird shit was happening,” she continued. “Before I even called my accountant, my accountant called me ‘cause [they] also get a notification… As soon we saw it was some funny activity going on, we completely cut off the credit card. But guess what, fuckers? We called those stores… Let me tell y’all motherfuckers something. Y’all going to jail, we got clear pictures of you motherfuckers trying to get money out of a Chase [ATM].”
Cardi said she’s also in possession of pictures showing the culprits in the Saks and Apple stores. “One of you is bald-headed, with a very thick beard,” she added, describing all the individuals she said committed credit card fraud. “Y’all going to jail by the end of the week… You’re lucky that I don’t got your address.”
Cardi expressed an interest in sharing the photos online, but her security team advised her against doing that. “Bitch, we got clear pictures of you motherfuckers,” she said. “I’ma make you pay me back… I’ma have my n***as beat you the fuck up, and on camera, bitch. … You got me fucked up.”
Nicki Minaj, with whom Cardi B has beefed, also experienced credit card theft last year. “3 different people in a span of 2 months charging my Amex w/o permission,” Nicki wrote in a Instagram Stories update. “They’re all going to jail.”
After Minaj made the allegations, Cardi’s claims about Nicki having people on her team exploiting her credit card without her knowledge resurfaced. “Quiet as kept the truth is you BEEN diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar for almost 9 years and you also on heavy drugs COCAINE.. PERCS.. AND XANAX!!!” Cardi wrote in an X post. “You don't listen to nobody around you.. the only person that have the power is Kenneth Petty... but you know what happens wit that Amex when you sedated.”
