During a recent performance at the Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix, Arizona, ASAP Rocky got real about his past life.
In between songs during the Don’t Be Dumb tour stop in Phoenix on Tuesday (June 23), Rocky addressed the audience directly. “Thank god y’all didn’t know me when I was single ‘cause I would have fucked the shit out of you if you was pretty,” he said, which was met with cheers from the audience.
While it was likely just a playful moment from Rocky, it also drew reactions from fans, considering Rocky has been in a relationship with Rihanna since at least 2021. The couple shares three children together, welcoming their most recent child, a baby girl, in September last year. Despite all that, Rocky was clearly just reflecting on what he used to be like before he locked it down.
Rihanna has also been present for some of the shows of the Don’t Be Dumb Tour, pulling up for the opening night to support her partner. She also recently boasted about Rocky being her “baby daddy” in an interview following the New York Knicks’ record-setting Game 4 win against the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals.
“And this is my n***a,” she said, holding an issue of Vibe featuring Rocky on the cover. “My baby daddy brought Vibe back. You know, the vibe has been lost. The vibe has been brought back. Oh my god, look. Right there. I fucked that n***a and I had his babies.”
