U.S. Army Investigating How Kid Rock Got an Apache Helicopter to Fly by His House

The official said that an investigation has been launched to determine how and why the fly-by was approved.

Kid Rock shared a video that showed an Apache helicopter doing a fly-by near his property, with an army official reportedly confirmed it was an army helicopter.

In the video, which Kid Rock shared on his social media accounts, the controversial artist was seen saluting an Apache helicopter as it slowed down to greet him by his property. Kid Rock, 55, saluted the helicopter as it hovered past, sending waves through his pool nearby.

“This is a level of respect that shit for brains Governor of California will never know,” he wrote alongside the video, referring to Gavin Newsom. “God Bless America and all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to defend her.”

Per Reuters National Security correspondent Idrees Ali, a U.S. government official has confirmed that the fly-by did, in fact, happen, and an investigation has been launched by the Army.

The post from Kid Rock has raised questions about how and why it happened, especially considering that it would come from taxpayer funding. In recent months, Rock has been closely aligned with the Donald Trump administration and has shared multiple videos hanging out with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the current Secretary of Health and Human Services.

As reported by The Independent, Gavin Newsom announced last month that he was “banning” Rock from the state of California following the release of a “creepy” workout video with Kennedy. In his statement jokingly announcing that he would ban Rock, he criticized the pair for their “low energy” workout and “weakest pushups.
