Peso Pluma made a surprise late-night stop at a Texas taco joint and snapped photos with the employees.

The Mexican superstar, 26, visited Taqueria De Diez in downtown Austin while in town for his Dinastía Tour, on Monday (April 6) just a day before his concert at the Moody Center arena.

Taqueria owners Raul and Luis Esquer told MySA that serving Peso and his team was a memorable experience.

“Having Peso Pluma stop by was one of those special, low-key moments that say everything about who he is," the owners said. “He walked up to the counter like any guest, checked out the menu, and went straight for carne asada volcán tacos with cheese and some al pastor. They kept it simple, enjoyed their food quietly, and before heading out, he took the time to be genuinely kind with our team and take a photo with them. Total class.”

As explained by MySA, Taqueria De Diez is a Tijuana-style street taco spot known for al pastor, carne asada, and pollo tacos, plus quesadillas and burritos, earning acclaim from foodies since opening in early 2024.

La Doble P performed in San Antonio on April 3 and returned to Austin for his first Moody Center show in two years. His last Texas tour stop is scheduled for Dallas on April 10. The tour will continue to visit major cities including Atlanta and New York before wrapping up in Chicago’s United Center on May 9.

Peso Pluma recently featured on the bilingual track "Last Breath" for Kanye West’s latest album BULLY. The track debuted at the No. 5 spot on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart.
