Oliver Tree has died in a plane crash at age 32.

Brazil’s Nation Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) confirmed to CNN Brasil that the singer-songwriter, along with five others, died on Sunday (June 14) after two helicopters collided midair and crashed in the Recreio dos Bandeirantes neighborhood in the southwest zone of Rio de Janeiro.

Of the six victims, five were in one helicopter, and one, a pilot, was in the other. The outlet identified the additional victims killed as Lucas Vignale, Gaspar Prim, Lucas Brito Chaves, Alexandre Souza, and Charles Marsillac.

Prim was a 23-year-old Argentine YouTuber, known online as Gaspi, who had nearly 3 million followers on his channel.

Authorities said the crash also caused fires after the aircraft struck a storage area for electric vehicles, damaging and burning around 20 cars.

In a statement shared with CNN Brasil, ANAC said it was investigating the cause of the crash and expressed its condolences for the families and friends of the victims.

Tree, who boasts over 11 million monthly listeners on Spotify and is best known for songs like “Miss You” and “Life Goes On,” had performed in Sao Paulo and was set to perform a European tour beginning July 1 in Lisbon.

He was due to perform additional shows in the United States, including a headlining concert at New York’s Terminal 5 on Aug. 4.
