Lola Young revealed how a phone call routed through a Bluetooth speaker exposed her partner's double life.

The 25-year-old “Messy” singer spoke about the snafu during the confessional segment at Rosalía’s Lux Tour on Tuesday (May 5) when the Spanish singer performed at London’s 02 Arena.

During the segment, Young recounted a relationship that ended after an unexpected discovery.

“I was seeing someone for about four months, and it was getting pretty serious, okay? And I have to confess: I thought I was falling in love, right?" she admitted. “We'd been seeing each other for four months and we get in bed, right? Yeah, we did the 'deed', it was great."

Young then explained the moment everything changed.

"So his phone rings, just as he's about to finish, right? He gets up, he jumps off, says, ‘I'll be back in two minutes.’ Now, during the intercourse … the Bluetooth music was still playing through the Bluetooth speaker."

From there, Young said that the man went downstairs to take the call, but the conversation still played through a Bluetooth speaker.

"He goes downstairs... On the phone, his wife was asking him to bring back nappies for his kids,” she said, causing an audible shock from the audience. “I heard everything through the speaker, can you believe it?"

If you weren’t sure, “nappies” are “diapers” in American English.

Young then plainly said she was no longer seeing the man anymore and that she “lost the plot” after the ordeal, before adding: “I’m back to women.”

In May 2025, Young told a fan “I like pussy as well u kno" in a response to a comment left on her TikTok which read, "No man deserves this."
