Latin pop vocalist Rosalía cut a concert short this week after falling ill with food poisoning.
According to Billboard, the two-time Grammy winner was performing in Milan on Wednesday (March 25) when she ended the show midway after suffering from food poisoning.
The concert marked the only city in Italy that was scheduled on the Lux Tour. The tour resumes on Monday (March 30) in Madrid, where Rosalía will hold four concerts at Movistar Arena.
In Milan, Rosalía had a short intermission before returning to the stage after completing two acts. Each concert has four acts in total.
Rosalía, who’s been performing in Europe since early March, told attendees that while she wanted to “push it ‘til the end,” she felt “extremely sick.”
“I tried to do this show, [but] since the beginning, I’ve been sick,” she told her sold-out crowd of 11,000 attendees.
Rosalía added that she was “puking out there” but wanted to “give the best show” before warning the crowd that she may have to suspend the concert.
“I’m in pain,” she added while holding her stomach.
As Setlist.FM notes, the Lux artist performed 11 songs, including three from her 2022 album, Motomami, before ending the show.
The European trek of the Lux Tour will continue until May 6, and Rosalía begins her U.S. leg on June 4 in Miami. The tour will also head to South America in mid-July before concluding in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on Sept. 3.
