D4vd's friend Neo Langston appeared before a Los Angeles grand jury as part of the investigation into the death of Celeste Rivas after his recent arrest for failing to appear as a witness.
The 23-year-old influencer appeared at a courthouse on Wednesday (Feb. 4) where a grand jury has been convened since November to gather information about 15-year-old Rivas, whose dismembered body was found in September 2025 inside D4vd's Tesla in Hollywood.
Neo spent about 30 to 40 minutes inside the grand jury room and then left the courthouse without answering questions as he exited, according to TMZ.
TMZ also reported that Deputy District Attorney Beth Silverman, who is presenting the case, declined to comment while heading into court.
Neo was arrested on Jan. 22 in Helena, Montana after an arrest warrant was issued by a Los Angeles judge. He was taken into custody at his mother's home, transported to Los Angeles, and booked into the LAPD's Metropolitan Detention Center on $60,000 bail before bonding out.
Prior to his arrest, the former Twitch streamer, who streamed under the name NeoTheAsian, appeared in multiple photos alongside D4vd.
Multiple witnesses have already testified in the Rivas case. An LAPD source also confirmed that D4vd (born David Anthony Burke) is a suspect and is reportedly expected to be indicted on murder charges.
LAPD homicide detectives have identified a second suspect who may have been involved "before, during, and after" her death.
