Complex is officially expanding with the launch of Complex Korea later this month, expanding its global brand into one of Asia's most influential cultural hubs.
The new office will operate under Complex Asia, the exclusive Asian licensee of Complex outside Japan, which also manages Complex China and ComplexCon Asia.
Bonnie Chan Woo, CEO of Complex Asia and Founder of SV Vision Limited, said in a statement, “After our third ComplexCon Hong Kong, it’s clear how much energy and creativity the Korean community brings. From artists to fans, the excitement is contagious - you feel it immediately, across music, fashion, art. It’s not just influence, it’s momentum. Launching in Seoul has always been the plan to deepen our roots in Asia in a way that’s earned, and build a platform that moves local creativity into a global conversation, not just in global feed.”
Complex Korea will deliver Korean-led editorial, video, and collaborative content across music, fashion, art, and streetwear while connecting local creators with international audiences through storytelling, global features, and cross-market collaborations.
Aaron Levant, CEO of Complex, said, "Having just returned from my first trip to Seoul, I left incredibly inspired by the level of creativity and innovation across fashion, design, retail, and music. The vibrance and energy of the city are undeniable. There couldn’t be a better time for Complex to launch in Korea, and we're excited to be part of one of the most dynamic global hubs in the world.”
With a dedicated team and office in Seoul, Complex Korea continues Complex's global expansion and its focus on engaging audiences where cultural trends are shaping the future.
The platform will debut with a cover story spotlighting a leading Korean artist and aims to operate across content, commerce, and experiences, reflecting Seoul's influence on global music, fashion, art, and digital culture.
